The Black Forest has many leisure activities that you can enjoy all year long. Here are a few recommendations we would suggest:

Guests who want to enjoy their stay in Oberharmersbach will find nice trails to hike and bike.You could take a trip to the Brandenkopf (947m above sea level) or a tour to Harkhof (700m above sea level) where you can see a magnificent view of the Rhine Valley. Visit lots of sightseeing points in the Black Forest like the Vogtsbauernhöfe in Gutach, which shows you how life and working conditions on a Black Forest Farm, in Mills, in a sawmill, in a farmhouse parlour and in barns were like 400 years ago. Afterwards you have the opportunity to ride a 300m/0.21mi long toboggan run in the neighborhood or you will find recreation at the "Park mit allen Sinnen" (More information on the right hand side). Just a few kilometers away you find Germany's highest waterfalls.

Spend a day trip in Germany's biggest and most visited amusement park the Europa Park in Rust. Or go to Steinwasenpark near Freiburg where you find a combination of great nature, landscape, wild life, experience and lots of fun .

The Black Forest Community Oberharmersbach is one of the participating villages in the KONUS-Programme. With the KONUS-Card, which you get free through the registration at your host, you can use participating busses and trains for free. Additionally you have free access to the public swimming pool of Oberharmersbach, several guided Tours and many other things. Or experience with the SchwarzwaldCard more than 150 of the most attractive destinations and attractions in the Black Forest area. Whether you go on your own, in a group or with your family you can save up to 60,-€ and more. For example: The SchwarzwaldCard offers you on three free selectable sequent days free entrance to your personal adventure tour: Museums, public swimming pools and hot springs, amusement parks (with the SchwarwaldCard is the entrance to the Europa Park for free), mountain railways, some ski lifts, ice pavilion, river navigation and much more. In addition you find only 150m from our farm away the very comfortable tavern "Jägerstüble" which is famous for his excellent kitchen.
